The Louisiana Press Association honored Thrive Magazine with 13 awards for general excellence, feature writing, graphic design, and cover design, at the 2010 annual meeting. Seventy-nine newspapers and publications participated, submitting almost 4,000 entries.
Thrive is a local monthly lifestyle magazine, focused on providing news and information about living a full, balanced and healthy life. Distributed at no charge in 200 businesses and rack locations throughout Southwest Louisiana, it began in 2003 as a quarterly publication and has grown to 12 issues a year.
