Holiday Gift Guide – Shop Local!
12/1/2020 1:00:00 PM

An emphasis on the idea of Shop Local began a decade ago with the first Small Business Saturday in November 2010, as an effort to help small businesses gain exposure and to inspire consumers to shop within their own communities during the holiday season. In this year’s Holiday Gift Guide, we feature several of those hard-working small business owners. Thrive encourages you to forego the Big Box chains and resist the convenience of shopping online; and instead, patronize our local retailers. Your support is especially important now, at the end of a year that has been so devastating for many area entrepreneurs.
